Client created bills in Bill.com for YEARS but never marked them paid. Why? They just wrote checks instead. So the system recorded the bill as an expense AND the check payment as another expense. Do you handle taxes?
I don't prepare or file tax returns, but I make sure your books are tax-ready and handle all the communication with your CPA for any bookkeeping questions. No need to put you through that boring back-and-forth!
Will you send invoices to my clients?
Short answer: Most likely not. Invoicing your clients is part of your sales process and depends on volume and frequency. Let's chat about your needs, and we'll make sure your clients are well taken care of.
Will you track my receipts?
I have a Google Drive system set up for all my clients. I always recommend taking pictures of every receipt and labeling them clearly—like 'Target - Office Supplies.' This keeps everything organized and makes tax time a breeze!
Can I just hand you everything and be done with it?
When we start working together, we'll need to collaborate closely upfront—asking questions and accessing your specific systems/software. After that, all you have to do is answer our monthly questions and join our 60-minute monthly financial calls. As time goes on, we'll need fewer questions, and you'll have more time to focus on your business.
What information do I need to get started?
Great question! To begin, we'll need access to your QuickBooks Online. If there's anything else specific, don't worry—we'll discuss it during our friendly discovery call. Let's get started on this exciting financial journey together.
How do you accept payments?
Easy-peasy! We accept ACH payments, and for our monthly clients, the same amount recurs automatically every month. You'll simply fill out a form one time, and we'll pull the funds! It's hassle-free and keeps things on track.
Do I have to commit for a certain amount of time?
Not at all! While we're excited to build a long-term partnership, there's no contract or commitment. I want you to feel comfortable and in control of your financial journey with us. Let's work together, no strings attached!
